Hey there, I'm Claudianne. I am in Dickinson Community. One of the six communities at Binghamton University. Each community has its own culture, traditions, student government, dining hall, quad, and recreation facilities, so you'll never have to go far to grab a bite to eat, play volleyball with friends, or study where you live.
Learning communities and collegiate professors make Binghamton unique. Collegiate professors are faculty members who are serving the community informally as role models, advisors, and leaders. They're also someone you can turn to for questions or concerns. Theme-based learning communities hold classes and programming for residents who share similar interests and goals, such as our Public Service Learning Community in Hinman College.
Making sure all students feel at home as a priority at Binghamton. To meet the needs of our diverse student body, Binghamton offers specialty housing options such as gender inclusive and quiet living. Now, let's talk about what's always on the minds of college students-- food! From breakfast, burgers and sandwiches to vegan and gluten-free and kosher options, our dining halls made sure there's something for everyone. Looking for the ultimate and healthy eating? We also have two registered dieticians to help students make smart choices. With so many options, where will you choose to be? Well, if you ask our students which community is the best and they'll say it's theirs. We'll see you soon.
